This our second one. we were happy with our first one . The new one has a water dispenser that our first refrigerator did not have. Also like that the butter holder was taken away and made to hold items. But by far our favorite feature is the water dispenser. We got 12 years out of our first refrigerator hope to get that again or better..

This is replacing a 12 year old LG refrigerator that was nothing but trouble. The size, color and design are great but it is a little loud. Also it seems to have a lot of condensation even with the humidity control button on. Other than that it's a nice fridge.

I read a lot of reviews with people having problems with this unit making loud banging noises and the ice maker being loud. I bought this unit and took my chances. So far it's been just fine. I did make sure not to plug it in after the delivery guys brought it in my house though since it was laying on it's back to remove shipping wrap. I let it sit for at least 4 hours before plugging it in and there have been no issues yet. I do like the visibility and lighting inside the unit and really like the water dispenser location.

After 20 years, it was time to remodel the kitchen. My wife and I wanted a workhorse refrigerator that didn't have a lot of features (to repair when they break). Our eight year old model had a water dispenser and ice maker which both broke and needed repair over that eight year period. When the old unit started to make weird noises, we knew it was time. This refrigerator is beautiful in every way. It has the space we need with adjustable shelves everywhere. The door shelves are also adjustable and deep. The freezer is large enough for even the holiday bird so we have abandoned thoughts of purchasing a separate freezer for the garage. The color and finish of this refrigerator is perfect. We chose black stainless (which not every supplier has) and we LOVE it. We think we'll be happy with this purchase for quite a while.

I've had my refrigerator for just about a week now. I'm loving it. I especially love that the water is on the inside. What I'm puzzled about is why the light keeps going out in the freezer section even after I replaced it. I did buy it from an appliance liquidator but there was no visible scratches or dents on it.

I just bought my fridge and couldn't be happier with it! There is space availability for wide dishes, and I can see everything inside since the whole refrigerator area is above my waistline, no digging on my knees for lost items in the back. It runs quiet, and has a no fingerprint surface which is great for all the kids. I honestly couldn't be happier with my choice of purchasing my fridge.

My husband and I were searching for a new oven and microwave and wanted to wait a bit for a fridge. We saw this fridge and based our oven/microwave purchase on it, planning to get the fridge in a few months. After a couple days (still waiting to get the oven delivered), we went back to this this. It was too beautiful to wait. We love the black stainless steel! It doesn't get too dirty at all and cleans up nicely. The fridge is very spacious. The freezer seems to be a little smaller than expected given the overall size, but we've never had a bottom drawer appliance. We absolutely love it!

I have had this refrigerator for about a month and it has leaked water since the first day I had it delivered. There is always water on my floor and I'm constantly cleaning it up. It also takes a long time to make ice. I now have to figure out a day to take off from my job and call for a repair appointment. I was initially going to buy the Frigidaire. Maybe I should have done so. I am really disappointed with this product. It's not like I bought a $40.00 toaster. This is a major purchase. I paid cash for this refrigerator and this is what I have to show for it.

This replaces a Samsung that lasted only 6 years and had multiple issues. Every time the repair guy came out, he said buy a Whirlpool. I finally did. It was about $1000 cheaper than the Samsung. I was looking for one with an ice maker in the freezer. We always had problems with ice when the ice maker was in the refrigerator section. Love the space, lighting, design. Love the stainless black, very attractive. So far, so good!

I have had this fridge about a month now. It's a nice fridge however when the ice maker fills the cube tray with water, which is often in my house, it makes a noise that sounds like a pump...it cycles 7 times! I have had several fridges with ice makers and have never heard this on another fridge. Everyone that comes to the house hears it and looks at me in surprise wondering what the noise is. And my master bedroom is just off the kitchen so you hear it about hourly all night long. Super annoying. And there is about a 3" gap between the back of the shelves and the fridge. Often smaller items fall into this gap, even water bottles. Bad design in my opinion.

We have owned this a few months and we have had a few problems. Humid conditions and the seals leak so a lot of condensation there. And an ice maker that worked for about a month and is now stopped. I'm hoping that warranty coverage fixes this but I am certain it should not be happening at all.

I bought this Whirlpool black s/s fridge and looks nice with the rest of kitchen. Delivery was quick and set up was easy. Delivery men removed and replaced door handles who were advised ahead of time so it would fit through the front door. Tight squeeze but no problem! Handles put back on and having no problems. Was told to empty 3 bins of ice and 3 gallons of water after setup. Been enjoying it and is very quiet, ice maker is a little loud when ice is dumped, but I like to hear it working properly, music to my ears!! Nice size, nice price, and I choose Whirlpool due to their reputation! The Whirpool I replaced lasted me 14 yrs. I also purchased the extended warranty for peace of mind, $115/3 yrs, well worth it. Highly recommend this fridge and Best Buy had a longer 0% financing than Home Depot and Lowes, 18 months vs 12 months! Which I plan on paying off earlier, but nice to know I can pay it off a little longer, if an emergency arises! So quit putting it off and go buy it! You'll be happy with this unit!

The freezer drawer does not have good rollers it seems. It pulls very hard and if you don't pull from the center you can feel it pulling crooked instead of straight out.

We are very happy with our new Whirlpool Refrigerator/Freezer with the pull-out drawer freezer and the chilled filtered water dispenser inside and the bright lights that are NOT in your face but illuminate the contents so well. I'd say the only slight negative is the noises it makes, but that's not too bad. The ice-maker works super fast! We're also happy with the dark color and the smudge-resistant finish.

When we first heard an unusual clicking noise after getting our new Whirlpool refrigerator, I thought it was mice or a rat in our attic or in the wall next to the refrigerator. Upon further investigation, I determined that it was coming from our refrigerator when the compressor was running.
I called the support desk at Whirlpool and let the person I was talking to actually hear the clicking, and was told that it was normal. I later read on their website that those kind of sounds are normal. I was told by the person at Whirlpool that if they sent someone out to check the problem and they determined the clicking was a normal sound from a Whirlpool refrigerator, they would charge me a service charge.
Well, that wasn't going to happen, so today I went back to Lowes and told them I was returning the refrigerator. I noticed on the Whirlpool website that they own most of the major appliance manufacturers! However, they apparently do not own GE,
LG, or Samsung. Samsung is what we use to have that continued to give us problems through the years, so they were eliminated. LG did not have a model we wanted. That left GE. We ended up paying over $400 more for a 27 cubic foot GE model but will have to live with the Whirlpool until the June 15th delivery date.
I have read hundreds of reviews of various makes and models of refrigerators and they all have some pretty bad reviews - including GE, but when I am told by a representative of Whirlpool that an obnoxious sound is normal, and even read on their website the same thing, they have and engineering or manufacturing problem that needs to be addressed.
